Chocolate Chip peanut butter granola bars
*To make these gluten free, just use gluten free oats.*
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/3 cup raw honey
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 1/2 cups oats
1/2 cup milled flax seed
1 Tbs almond meal
1/4 cup choc chips
Melt peanut butter, honey and coconut oil over low heat. Mix oats, almond meal and flax together. Combine all ingredients, and press into an 8x8 pan. (I usually line my pan with a piece of parchment paper.) Sprinkle the chocolate chips onto the top, and press down. Place the pan into the fridge to set for about 2 hours. Cut into bars.
These granola bars are sweet because of the amount of honey in them. You could definitely get away with serving these as a dessert. Just cut them into squares, or triangles.
